Tricia Delgado
(Beauty Operator/Owner)

Tricia has been in the beauty industry for over 13 years, and has studied at some of the most prestigious advanced academies across the country. She has acquired numerous Advanced Academy Master Diplomas from Vidal Sassoon, Paul Mitchell, Aveda, Toni & Guy, & Rusk. Her education also includes Advanced Academy Classes from Schwarzkopf, Redken, American Crew, Bumble & Bumble, and Goldwell to name a few. Tricia has also been part of the Aveda Styling team during Fashion Week in New York & Los Angeles. Tricia strives to find esteemed classes where she can learn the newest trends, and modern twists for classic styles.

A true artist, Tricia loves creating new looks for her clients. She loves the persistent change in the hair industry, and how history always seems to repeat itself with an added modern twist. Tricia loves to take classic styles and add her own artistic spin. She always considered becoming a hair dresser as a career, but didn’t pursue it until her mother advocated to her what an amazing and talented hair stylist she would make. As she embarked on her career, she began to dream up and envision of what her own salon would look like, but she never imagined how successful and cultivating Ultra Lux would become.

Tricia met Deanna in beauty school and they instantly clicked with their shared passion for the art of doing hair. They then went on to work together for over 4 years in a Manhattan Beach salon before deciding to open up Ultra Lux and finally live their dream of opening up their own salon in 2002. When an Investor came to Tricia and proposed to her the opportunity to open a salon, she immediately thought of Deanna, and their combined dreams of creating the beauty shop they had envisioned for years. They then opened Ultra Lux Salon, which at the time consisted of 4 Stations, and 4 employees, and has from then grown to more than 15 employees, doubled in size, and has become a renowned Southern California business. Tricia accredits her son Travis for inspiring her life every day, and driving her ambition to levels she never imagined attainable.

Deanna Serna
(Beauty Operator/Owner)

With over 12 years experience in the beauty industry, Owner Deanna’s education is beyond extensive! She has trained with advanced academy’s across the country including, Aveda, Redken, Vidal Sassoon, Tigi, Goldwell, Bumble & Bumble, American Crew, and Paul Mitchell to name a few. She has also been part of the Aveda styling team during Fashion Week in New York & Los Angeles. Deanna continues to attend advanced education on a regular basis to learn new styles, trends, and refresh on classic styles. Growing up, Deanna always loved cutting and coloring her hair, and always had a huge interest in fashion & the beauty industry. When Deanna got to high school, her father recommended her becoming a hair dresser, and she’s never looked back. She loves the creativity she gets to have, and creating beautiful changes for her clients. Whether they are looking to cut their long hair into a short bob, or change their black tresses to a beautiful bright red, they know that Deanna will always make them look exactly how they envisioned, plus her added twist to give their hair that extra custom look! Deanna gets the upmost satisfaction out of seeing the gleaming look on her client’s faces when they see their stunning hair.

Deanna always dreamt of opening her own business, but couldn’t have even imagined all the amazing things that would come along with it. Deanna & Tricia met in beauty school and instantly clicked with their shared passion for the art of doing hair. They then went on to work together for over 4 years in a Manhattan Beach salon before deciding to open up Ultra Lux and finally live their dream of opening up their own business in 2002. Having no business experience at the time, they learned everything they know along the way. Learning along the way sure had its benefits for Ultra Lux! The salon started at just over 700 sq. ft., 4 stations, and 4 employees, and in 2004 expanded to what Ultra Lux has become today, a whopping 1575 sq. ft salon with 10 stations, and 15 employees. Deanna’s dream of owning her own business came true, and she has gained so many wonderful things along the way including friendship with Ultra Lux’s amazing team of stylists, a wonderful clientele, and a constantly growing business that has firmly left its mark in the beauty industry.

Aileen Zambito
(Beauty Operator)

Aileen has been styling up some fabulous hair for over 5 years. After attending beauty school locally, she assisted at a salon in Beverly Hills working under highly skilled platform artists. Through this experience she gained confidence and enthusiasm which is constantly displayed on her clients incredible locks. Along with her previous experience Aileen has had training from the Aveda Academy in color and cut. Color, being one of Aileen’s passions, she loves to create dimensional color, edgy styles or give that blonde a beautiful sun kissed look. She is the highlighting queen!

Aileen’s style and personality is outgoing and exuberant, her clients love her passion and excitement about making sure they look their best. She is punctual, thorough, and personable and always keeps you looking beautiful time after time.

Jaclyn Jean (Beauty Operator)

Jaclyn Jean lives in Redondo Beach with her two year old daughter, her biggest life inspiration and teacher. She has been doing hair for over 6 years, formerly educated at SFIEC- Paul Mitchell San Francisco, Vidal Sassoon- Classic Cutting and Aveda Institute for Color. Having a more classically trained style Jaclyn loves a challenge- corrective color, cutting, highlights, edgy styles… put anyone in her chair and she is game! Jaclyn is constantly educating herself to stay up on the latest developments with color, styling and finding new inspiration in different, un-obvious places; while also finding inspiration for life and exploring other artistic outlets besides her love of hair. One of the great strengths about Jaclyn is that she profoundly listens to what her clients want, producing the results that they so desire.

Meghan Currie
(Beauty Operator)

Meghan Currie has been successfully styling up some fantastic hair over 5 years. Her educational background includes: Redken color classes, Crew men’s hair cutting, Michael Cromean Business seminar, and Aveda Academy Classes. Meghan’s outgoing passion about her career allows her to give her clients the upmost attention they deserve. Her love of hair, styling, and color corrections is demonstrated on each and every one of her clients’ fabulous locks!

Meghan has done hair and makeup for various events local high school musical theater productions, along with weddings and other fabulous events for her clients. Come in and check out this welcoming lady at Ultra Lux.

Sara Marie
(Beauty Operator / Make Up Artist)

Sara has been in the Beauty Industry for over 7 years, working as a makeup artist and stylist. Sara has the unique opportunity to be licensed in skin care and cosmetology, with advanced training from the Studio Makeup Academy in Hollywood as well as Aveda Academy classes in color and cutting. Sara loves to create a meaningful experience for her clients. Hair and styling are essential to Sara, so she intensely listens to her client’s every need to give them the best style and insure they are always 100% satisfied. Sara also has a lot of experience working in production with various television networks. Through this, she has beautified some of Hollywood’s most attractive celebrities. Sara’s creativity and talent truly show through in her work and is always reflected in her client’s satisfaction.

Ashlee has been interested in hair since she was young, and now with over 4 years of experience she continues to be inspired by the artistry of hair on a daily basis. She has advanced training from the Aveda Academy in both cut, color, & styling. 60s pictures, scenes, & movies are some of the inspirations behind her work. Excellent at styling, she is sure to turn anyone into a bombshell with her notorious voluminous blow-dry. The perfectionist she is, each clients' locks are treated & styled with the utmost care. Whether it's a beautiful layered cut, striking dimensional color, or a perfectly primped do, Ashlee is sure to make your hair look its best!

Lindsay Shaver
(Salon Manager)

Lindsay has worked at Ultra Lux off and on for over 4 years now, and has over 5 years of business management experience. She loves to make sure every client is 100% satisfied with their Ultra Lux beautification experience. Lindsay has been working with Aveda products for over 4 years, and continually ensures customers are using the finest Aveda products at home to keep their skin looking radiant, and their hair stunning.

In her spare time, she goes to school where she is working on a computer pattern making technician degree, and she also runs her own online clothing and accessory business, DeadRockers. She would like to one day open her own boutique and apply all of the business knowledge she has acquired at Ultra Lux into creating her own successful business.
